The ELP classroom is a program for students who need more consistent and greater support than can be provided in the resource model and who learn best in a smaller group environment. This classroom is taught by a special education teacher with the help of a
classroom associate. The students in this classroom may have a parallel curriculum to the regular classroom. The curriculum is chosen on what works best for the student and his/her learning needs. The students in this classroom spend time in the regular education classroom depending upon their individual learning needs.
