Chris Northwick (President) - 847-486-8345

Chris is the mother of two current District 34 students and has been a Glenview resident since 2002. Her volunteer highlights include: Lyon/Pleasant Ridge PTA President, PTA Council President, Glenview Education Foundation board member and co-chair of the New School Task Force. Until 2004, Chris was Vice President, Integrated Sales Strategy at SRDS, a part of the Nielsen Company. She is a graduate of Northwestern University. Chris was elected to the Board in 2009.

Sue Ellen Bohac Galligan (Vice President) - 847-998-8443

Sue Ellen has lived in Glenview since 1990. Sue Ellen co-owns a marketing research company which works with Fortune 100 companies in identifying high potential consumer opportunities for business development and expansion. Sue Ellen graduated from the University of Southern California and earned a master's degree from the University of Illinois. She has been part of the following district committees: Board Finance Advisory Committee, 34 Connect, Education Committee and Technology Committee. Sue Ellen was elected to the Board in 1999 and re-elected in 2003, 2007 and 2011.

Sam Ach - 847-657-9017
Sam has lived in Glenview since 1995 and has three children who attended District 34. His volunteer highlighs include: Glenview Education Foundation board member and chair, Technology Committee member and New School Task Force member. Sam graduated from Amherst College and the University of Chicago Law School. He currently serves as an independent consultant and attorney in private practice. During his career he has served as General Counsel for several corporations and Chief Counsel for IDOT. He was elected to the Board in 2011.
Jackie Lutz - 847-486-0107

Jackie has participated in several District committees since moving to Glenview in 2001. She was co-chair for 34Connect, participated in two principal search committees, was a member of the District's strategic planning process and served as board member and chair of the Glenview Education Foundation. Jackie graduated from the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to 2007, she worked as a health care consultant, supporting hospitals in strategic planning and product development. She was elected to the Board in in 2011.

John J. (Jack) Murphy - 847-724-0632

Jack moved to Glenview in 2003 and has two children who attend District 34 schools. He graduated from St. Mary's College and the University of Minnesota Law School. He worked in the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office for 20 years, 10 as a criminal prosecutor and 10 representing Cook County and its elected officials. He currently is a lawyer with Scariano, Himes and Petrarca, a law firm that specializes in representing school districts. Jack also taught trial advocacy at Kent Law School for 14 years. He was elected to the Board in 2005 and re-elected in 2009.

Cathe Russe - 847-904-7944

Cathe moved to Glenview in 2004 and has four daughters who are students in District 34. After a career in strategic planning, business development and marketing for both non-profit and for-profit organizations, Cathe retired to spend more time with her daughters. She currently manages a small hearing aid business and is an active volunteer. She serves as a board member of Friends of Youth Services Glenview/Northbrook, a board member on the Glenview Education Foundation and a board member of Willow House. She was elected to the Board in 2009.

Julie Shechtman - 847-657-7066

Julie has lived in Glenview since 2001 and has four children attending school in the district. Julie graduated from The Wharton School at The University of Pennsylvania and earned her MBA at Harvard. Julie worked at Goldman Sachs and currently works at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney. She has been part of the following committees: Citizens Finance Advisory Committee, Education, Personnel, Middle School Task Force, PTA Council and ED-RED. Julie was elected to the Board in 2007 and re-elected in 2011.
