Invitation to Bidders
The Board of Education of Glenview Community Consolidated School District No. 34 will accept sealed bids from qualified vendors for our student transportation for the 2025-2026, 2026-2027, and 2027-2028 school years until [10:00 AM], [December 10, 2024]. Bid packages will be available at 1401 Greenwood Rd, Glenview, IL, starting on [November 11, 2024].
The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to accept bids in whole or in part, and to waive any irregularities or defects in any bid. The contract will be awarded, if at all, after first considering the bidder most able to provide safety and comfort for the pupils, stability of service, and conformity with the Bid Specifications, then by price and such other factors as determined by the Board of Education. All decisions of the Board of Education shall be considered final. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject a bid from a bidder who, in the Board of Education’s opinion, does not exhibit past experience equal to the size and scope of this project or who does not submit the bid per the Bid Specification requirements.

AMENDMENT TO STUDENT TRANSPORTATION BID #1533
On page three, paragraph one, this should read:
1. All bids shall be placed in a sealed envelope addressed to Eric Miller, Assistant Superintendent for Business Services, Glenview Public Schools, 1401 Greenwood Road, Glenview, Illinois 60026, with the bidder’s name and address on the outside of the envelope and marked “Bid #1533 – Student Transportation” and delivered to Eric Miller, Glenview Public Schools, 1401 Greenwood Road, Glenview, Illinois 60026, by 10:00 a.m. on December 10, 2024 at which time all bids will be opened and read aloud. All bids shall be valid for ninety (90) days beginning at 10:00 a.m. on December 10, 2024.
