Panorama Spring Survey

District 34 collected information about social-emotional learning and student well being through a survey from Panorama Education, conducted in the fall and spring. Panorama is our partner in helping District 34 improve school climate and culture, social-emotional learning (SEL) and student well being and outcomes.

The spring window for the Panorama survey runs from May 2-20, 2022. Providing this assessment three times a year provides District 34 with an opportunity to have frequent touchpoints with students on their well being, and to help us understand the impact of our social-emotional curriculum and other SEL opportunities.

The K-2 survey will be an observational perception survey completed by the classroom teacher. Students in grades 3-8 will take the online survey. Per Board Policy 7:15, you have the right to review the survey questions and decide if you do not wish your child to participate. Here are copies of the surveys

Parent/Family Survey
Our partnership in supporting your child continues to be critically important, so we want to know what parents think, too. The parent survey asks questions like:

  • To what extent do you know how your child is doing socially at school?
  • To what extent do you think that children enjoy going to your child's school?
  • How concerned are you about your child's emotional well-being this school year?

The data will allow us to identify what we are doing well and where we can focus our efforts, including family support, school climate and developing grit.

The completely anonymous parent online survey will take less than 10 minutes. You will receive an email with more specific information and the survey link in May.

Thank you for your ongoing partnership to provide us with important input to help us make our schools the best they can be for your children!
